As one of New York's elite few female plastic surgeons, Dr. Pfeifer is well attuned to the aesthetic concerns of her patients. Her specialized training in plastic surgery of the breast further distinguishes her within the field.

Dr. Pfeifer is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

After receiving her medical degree with honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Pfeifer performed her residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center's institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. She completed advanced training in Breast Surgery as a Fellow at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Breast Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Pfeifer also holds a Masters Degree in Health Care Management from California State University.

Dr. Pfeifer is an attending plastic surgeon at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Lennox Hill Hospital, Southampton Hospital and North Shore University-Manhasset. She is also an active member of the following professional societies:

• American Society of Plastic Surgery
• American College of Surgeons
• Women's Medical Association of New York City

Dr. Pfeifer is the recipient of numerous academic achievement and leadership awards, and has authored book chapters and articles published in a variety of peer-reviewed medical journals. As a frequent guest lecturer on cosmetic surgery topics, she has been featured on national television programs and in publications such as Allure, Glamour, and Newsday. Dr. Pfeifer is also recognized as one of the top surgeons for Breast Surgery Revisions for those women who are unhappy with their prior surgical results.
