Dr. Steven K. Palumbo has been practicing Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery on Long Island since 1984. He is recognized as an expert in cosmetic breast surgery - breast enlargement and a new technique of breast reduction and breast lift known as "vertical mammaplasty" as well as all aspects of facial cosmetic surgery, body contouring and abdominoplasty.

Personal Information: Outside the field of surgery, Dr. Palumbo has exhibited his oil paintings and drawings and was awarded first prize in drawing at the Annenburg Art Festival in 1982. Many of his paintings can be seen in the ambulatory surgery center in Quogue.
Dr. Palumbo is also a member of the song writer's guild and has produced his own album of original songs in 1994 entitled "Eyes of My Child". His short story, "Rose", about his experience with a terminally ill patient, was the cover story of New Physician magazine. In 2005, Dr. Palumbo's first novel was published, "Spoils", a story of the Nazi theft of some of the world's greatest art during the occupation of Paris in 1940. He is currently working on a second novel. Copies of the CD, short stories and novel are available at the office.
